Your attention matters, and we think you should have more agency over what reaches it.
A lot is happening on Semble. New collections are constantly being created and collections grow as people (and AI assistants) add cards to them. Following a collection adds its activity to your Following feed, but when you're following dozens of collections, the updates you care about most can get lost in the mix.
Subscriptions let you tune in even more deliberately. You can subscribe to collections and to people, and their updates reach you as notifications, not just another item in your feed, so you don't miss the ones you especially care about.
Subscribe to a collection
Follow a collection, then hit the bell to subscribe. You’ll receive notifications for new activity related to the collection - when a new card is added to it, when someone saves it or when someone connects it to another card or collection.
It's especially handy on open collections you're building with others. Subscribe to one you're curating with collaborators — a research lab, a project team, a group of friends — and you'll catch every card they add as it happens, no checking in required.
Subscribe to a person
Some people are just really great curators - most of what they find is interesting to you.
Subscribe to a person to get notified about new cards or connections they create.
Why it matters
You don't always need a fancy algorithm steering your attention. Sometimes all you want is a reliable way to see the curation of accounts you trust, and that's exactly what subscriptions are for.
Try it out - subscribe to a few of your favorite collections or curators!
